Our Story
When we started out, we learned the ropes the hard way! We found that the traditional HR models and practices just weren’t cutting it, and our “off the shelf” HR skill set wasn’t enough to make a real impact. Our formal education hadn’t prepared us for the real-world challenges we faced.
Out of necessity, we decided to challenge the existing norms, discard the established guidelines, and develop our own methods to support business to grow and value the inherent worth of people, and we have been doing it for more than two decades. Our methods have been tried and tested and proven to be different, contemporary, and effective in achieving desired outcomes.

Nicole is a senior Human Resource practitioner who specialises in change, culture, employee relations, and strategies to enhance the employee experience.
She has developed and honed these skills working in a diverse range of fast-paced, regulated operational environments such as FMCG, retail, disability services, marine, rail, aviation, Local Government, tourism and hospitality.
With a high degree of commerciality, Nicole respects and understands the challenges and competing priorities of executives and senior managers and knows how to tailor the right outcomes for the circumstances.
She is proud to be considered a highly trusted business advisor and coach, with the ability to provide a return on investment in human capital despite the challenges.
Nicole’s greatest passion is coaching business leads to be more effective, to use data and analytics to drive change and inspire higher performance and to be a more practised situational leader for people and purpose. She has transformed many careers by matching people’s “why” with their competencies and strengths, coaching emotional intelligence competencies, and influencing skills.

Marnie is a C Suite, senior executive with 30+ years of corporate experience in strategy and planning, human resources, industrial relations, governance, risk and safety, organisational change and leadership development.
With commercial and operational experience across diverse industries at all stages of the lifecycle, her strong business and financial acumen is a predisposition for challenging the status quo. This has led to often been called upon to advise and develop strategy, or manage and oversee operations outside of the human resource remit including procurement, cash flow and liquidity management, process improvement, systems implementation packaging and distribution optimisation and customer service delivery, to name a few.
She considers one of her achievements to be the development of a contemporary approach to HR management to deliver tangible commercial results, and the coaching and mentoring of many leaders who have gone on to hold important senior roles.
Having worked in Adelaide, nationally and internationally, she is adept at managing different cultural and geographical challenges.
